LCD TVs

Love em' or hate them LCD TVs are becoming more and more popular and rule of thumb seems to be the bigger the better! This is great until, as with most LCD screens you decide you want your pride and joy attached to the wall, now where as before you had to hunt around for a compatible tv bracket there is now an industry standard called VESA for brackets which Over 90% of modern Tvs now conform to this standard.

This means it's real easy to go pick up a bracket, screw it to the wall and hey presto just like that house on MTV Cribbs!...Well not quite, you see the important bit is to ensure that you have the right bracket for the right TV, and not just the right brand. You see, it depends on where you are mounting your TV to what type of bracket you should fit, if it's above eye height when you are sitting down you should maybe go for a tilt screen that way you will always be looking straight at the screen (a very important thing with a LCD TV) or if it's in a kitchen a swivel bracket might be more suitable. Then there's the fitting, you would be amazed at some of the fixings we have found in brackets.

As well as breaking your pride and joy an incorrectly fitted TV bracket can be extremely dangerous especially if there are small children in the house. 

The good news is that you can have one of our guys come and fit a bracket for you, ensuring that its done correctly and safely!. The cost of brackets varies but is well worth paying for a good quality one as they tend to give you more movement and visability from your TV.
