We do all we can to vet licensees and directory listings before they are posted on our website, any complaints received and upheld against a licensee or directory listing results in their profile being suspended . If you suffer any problems or losses as a result of acting on the information provided outside of the Website, Dial a handyman.com will not be liable.
Licensee Information
How it works
Licensees pay an initial set up fee for joining our network, this gives them the legal right to operate under the dial a handyman.com brand, licensees then pay a monthly management fee, management fees are paid by direct debit every month
Licensees sign a contract to ensure they trade with-in our customer commitment policy and provide fair and honest customer service, any licensee found not to provide a fair service will be removed from the network immediately and are contractually obliged to return all branded uniform and stationery, Please note that no refund will be offered by Dial a handyman.com for any items returned
Dial a handyman.com reserves the right to publish on our profile system why a licensee has been removed from our system if it thinks customers should be made aware of any malpractice by the licensee
Once signed up licensees will receive a email address and login details for our profile system, your profile system filled in yourself, instructions are downloadable from your licensee homepage, other profiles on our system can be used as examples of how to fill the profile out but licensees are asked to refrain from copy and pasting from other profiles as its important that the profile is unique to them.
Feedback left by customers is to be checked and toggles live, you are able to check and amend feedback for spelling and legal content before making it live, any licensee found completely changing feedback will have facility switched off and feedback will be checked by us
Once approved as a licensee you can visit our licensee support site which carries all branded clothing stationary and promotional items, lead time on items vary but licensees should allow seven to ten days for delivery of items.
Information Submitted to profile
You are solely responsible for any information submitted by you and ensuring it is true, accurate, up-to-date and not misleading or likely to mislead or deceive and that it is not discriminatory, obscene, offensive, defamatory or otherwise illegal, unlawful or in breach of any applicable legislation, regulations, guidelines or codes of practice or the copyright, trade mark or other intellectual property rights of any person in any jurisdiction. Directory Listings are open to any person or company that has a website and offers handyman services as part of their range of services
Directory listings will be reviewed by our editorial team and if approved will appear on our profile system within one to two working days. The criteria used for review will include legality, accuracy and decency. In the event that your listing is not approved we will contact you to arrange any agreed amendments
You may submit changes to your entry, All changes will be reviewed by our editorial team, In the event that your amended listing is not approved we will contact you to arrange any agreed amendments. If we are unable to agree any change the listing will remain in its original form.
Customers are able to leave you feedback on your listing, any feedback received is checked by our team for its content then tagged live on website, should any of the feedback received on your listing not be correct please contact us immediately
Any directory listing who receives poor feedback on a regular basis may have their directory listing cancelled, should this happen no refunds are given for remaining subscription period
Should you wish to cancel your Listing or remove it from the directory please contact us and we will remove the listing within 24 hours of receipt of your instruction. The business owner will at all times indemnify Dial a handyman.com from and against any and all losses arising out of the business owner’s breach of any representation, warranty or obligation hereunder, or any alleged breach of any representation, warranty or obligation to any other party
